Get The Perfect Look For Your Golf Clothing

Creating a lasting impact on the golf course isn’t just about how you tee off, appearance can have just as big an impact and it’s important that you look the part as well as playing the part. When it comes to choosing golf clothing, there is a huge variety available that will help you stand out to those around you. The products range from understated and trendy to loud and quite frankly, bizarre.

It’s important that you feel comfortable and confident when on the golf course. You wouldn’t see Tiger Woods or Rory McIlroy turning up in a scoop neck, chino’s and Ugg Boots, so why should you? Looking the part will help you boost confidence, and confident players tend to perform better.

Perhaps one of the most important things to consider is comfort. It’s recommended that golf clothing is kept loose as tight clothing can be restrictive and can hamper your swing. It’s important that your clothing does not affect your game in any way, shape or form.

If you’re playing golf as part of a team, then it’s good to look the part with matching clothing that distinguishes you as affiliates. You could simply have the same colour t-shirts, or personalise them with a logo or some lettering to let everyone know which team you are on. This means there will be no confusion over who’s who, and it’ll be easier to keep track of everyone.

Whilst contrasting clothing isn’t recommended in everyday life, it can be a good choice on the golf course. You can stand out by doing this, and potentially distract other players by putting them off their game. This piece of gamesmanship could potentially put others off their game and work to your advantage massively.

Looking presentable is the key issue here. Many golf clubs have strict clothing policies and you could be turned away if you turn up in ripped jeans and a scruffy t-shirt. Make sure you look sharp to avoid disappointment before you even step onto the green.
